Rev. Ken Woodard has served as pastor of Temple Baptist Church in Dade City, FL for 16 years! While serving in Florida, he has earned his Master of Ministries degree from Bob Jones University. He serves on the board of The Anchorage Christian Camp in North Carolina. Prior to his ministry in Florida, he served as youth pastor at a church in Pennsylvania, where he was born and reared.
Pastor Woodard has had the opportunity to invite many of the musicians whom you will find featured on the web site in his church in Central Florida. He appreciates good music and wants others to have ready access to it, as well.
Rachael Woodard graduated from Bob Jones University in January of 1984 and immediately moved to Pennsylvania to begin teaching at a Christian school. She met Ken there, while he was serving as youth pastor and she as a teacher in the Christian school. After moving to Florida with her husband, she taught in the small A.C.E. school the church had for three years. She also served as religion and education editor at the Pasco News, a local weekly newspaper.
She now is the mother to the four Woodard children, as well as runs www.thecouponclippers.com. The Woodards have homeschooled at least one of their children for five years.
Rachael has seen the impact of music in her own children's lives as well as the lives of the ones she ministers to as Pastor's wife. She wants to make it easy for people to find good music and listening materials for their children.
Becky Petersen (www.solidrockpl.org) also graduated from Bob Jones University in January 1984, but she stayed on as a Graduate Assistant to earn her Master's degree in Education. She and her husband, Mike, are currentlymissionaries in Warsaw, Poland, with International Baptist Missions. They are in the process of planting a church there and have had the opportunity to host many talented musicians in their home. They have five children.
Becky sees the dearth of quality music in her adopted home-land of Poland and is currently seeking to try to fill the gap with some conservative, Christian music sung in Polish!
